The user experience of electric car drivers is often still marred by the long and arduous search for charging stations or by unwanted deviations from their usual mobility behavior. Easy access to charging points and convenient payment, on the other hand, provide users of electric vehicles with an optimum experience. Users access the charging services via a smartphone app or the vehicle display and consequently enjoy the benefits of Bosch’s ever-growing global charging network. This makes it particularly easy to locate charging stations, commence charging operations, and make payments. You also have the option of offering our services as a customized product bearing your own brand and design.
Access management ensures a convenient and individual experience with electric vehicles. You have the option of using the complete, customized charging app or of integrating individual service modules into your own native app according to your specific requirements. We take care of all contracts with infrastructure operators and ensure compliance with all legal regulations, including data protection.
Within the app, your customers or employees can find all public charging points on a digital map and can refine their search by entering an address or using filters such as price, availability, or charging power. The app provides important information for each charging station, including the address, number of charging points, connector types, power output, and availability. The app can also show points of interest (POIs) in the vicinity of the charging point, which users can visit while charging is taking place. A function for reserving charging stations in advance is also being planned.
At the charging point, the entire charging operation can be controlled via the smartphone app or the vehicle display, while a timer function notifies when the charging time has elapsed. You can tailor the payment and billing process for your customers and employees to your own individual requirements, for example, with prepaid charging quotas. The charging prices can also be adjusted individually, for example, if you would like to offer your customers or employees particularly attractive conditions.
App users can view their charging history in the integrated logbook at any time. This shows them past charging operations, the costs incurred, as well as utilized services.

Our customizable charging services make every journey an individual experience. EV navigation offers route planning, turn-by-turn navigation along conveniently located charging points, and recommendations for points of interest (POIs), for example, stores or restaurants based on personal preferences. Your customers or employees can thus make optimum use of their time while the vehicle is charging.
For EV navigation, your customers or employees can easily plan their routes using a smartphone app and subsequently follow them via the automotive head unit for a seamless experience.
The system plans the charging stops along the route, while taking the continuously updated battery range into account. In addition, the system considers the individual preferences and behavior of the driver. For example, users can decide at any time whether fast or low-cost charging is more important to them. The app also shows detailed information for each charging point, which can be filtered according to different criteria – for example, by operator, current availability, reservation options, or prices. During the journey, our EV navigation also predicts the likelihood of a charging station being available upon arrival.
Individual context, such as the user’s personal calendar, can also be included in the system’s recommendations. If, for example, a meeting is to take place earlier than scheduled, our system will recommend a short stop at a fast charging station and a quick snack in a café rather than an extended charging break accompanied by a full meal in a restaurant. At the user’s request, the system can also learn from their behavior and make future recommendations on this basis. Thanks to personalized tourist recommendations for the current location and the destination, your customers or employees can make optimum use of the journey and charging time.
The navigation functions can also be used outside the vehicle via the smartphone app.
