The Automotive data transformer (ADT) is a cloud-based SaaS tool for quick vehicle data processing. It supports MDF data and integrates seamlessly with AWS services like S3 storage. Save time and budget with our AWS-native API, which extracts metadata for database storage in seconds. Convert signal data into Parquet, JSON, or CSV formats quickly and reliably. ADT enables automated, scalable data analysis, simulations, and machine learning model enhancements in the cloud, utilizing the latest generative AI technologies.

The Automotive data transformer (ADT) is a robust cloud-based SaaS tool designed to help data engineers and cloud architects process extensive vehicle data swiftly. Available as a microservice on the AWS Marketplace, ADT can be integrated into data pipelines or cloud solutions within minutes. It supports the established, memory-efficient, and demanding automotive data format MDF. ADT enables the rapid, fully automated preparation of vast vehicle data volumes for further processing:

Metadata extraction: ADT segments and extracts definable metadata levels, such as signal lists. Data can be received directly as a JSON array or saved in JSON format to create a measurement database.

Signal data processing: Data can be resampled in milliseconds based on a selectable grid and cut according to defined timestamps, reducing file size and potentially lowering cloud storage costs.

Parallel conversion: Instead of sequentially converting signals, multiple signals from various files can be converted quickly through cloud parallelization and stored as compressed Parquet, CSV, or JSON files in defined cloud storage. This reduces development time and allows for faster software iteration, enhancing quality.

Whether you’re analyzing vehicle data or improving machine learning models for autonomous vehicles, ADT enables quick insights from your data lake. As a SaaS, it eliminates ongoing maintenance and support requirements for in-house solutions and benefits from continuous development.

Using an API, data engineers can seamlessly integrate the Automotive data transformer into automated data pipelines. It supports extracting metadata into a database or JSON file in a data lake, enabling the retrieval of measurement data for later error analyses. By extracting relevant signals and converting them into big data storage formats like Parquet, the data is stored cost-efficiently.
