Radar sensors
The main advantage of radar technology is its impressive resistance to adverse weather and environmental influences such as rain, fog, or dust. With our radar off-highway premium, you benefit from a robust and powerful premium component from our automotive portfolio, adapted to the needs of the municipal market. The high-resolution radar produces a point cloud with a resolution that is ten times higher than previous system generations. As a result, even objects that are positioned very close together in the detection area can be reliably distinguished.
Ultrasonic sensors
The powerful near-range sensor system. Our ultrasonic systems for municipal applications cover a wide range (up to 360° panoramic view) with up to twelve sensors. Depending on the configuration, the sensors measure only the distance or also offer object localization. In terms of operational safety, our sensor system achieves performance level D according to ISO 13849.
Retrofit multicamera system
The solution for quick and simple commissioning. The system comprises four compact near-range cameras including control unit, a universal wiring harness, a 10-inch touch display, and a set of camera mounts. The complete package enables quick and trouble-free installation, regardless of the vehicle make, model, or year of manufacture.

Our compact and powerful motors for electric municipal vehicles are available in two power ratings of 90 kW and 140 kW. The design of the electric motors is characterized by its high power density and excellent efficiency. This is combined with inverters and transmissions to provide you with customized system solutions from a single source. Our inverter with integrated DC/DC converter serves as the ideal control system for the Bosch electric motors in mobile machinery.
